Here is a quick run down of the main points.
|
POP Server:
This is the Post Office Protocol, and as it indicates, it is the computer
that you will retrieve your e-mails from. This should be set to reith.com.au
|

|
SMTP Server:
This is the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol, and as it indicates, it is
the computer that will send your e-mails on your behalf. You can try
setting this to reith.com.au but
if that is unsuccessful you will need to use your Internet Service Providers
SMTP computer. This is usually in the form of: mail.myisp.com,
for example: mail.ozemail.com.au
|

|
Leaving
mail on the server: If you wish to view your e-mails from differing
e-mails clients, say from work and home for example, then you need to
tell the e-mail client to leave you mail on the server. Here is an example
from Microsoft Outlook Express. Go to Tools -> Accounts... ->
select your newly created account and select Properties

Take note this is the Advanced tab. The highlighted area indicates the option to change.
