Hello and welcome to my own homepages. As these pages are new they will exhibit characteristics of any new project. That is, confusing form and style, spelling mistakes and a general lack of design and thought. Hopefully as the Last Updated date far exceeds the Created Date then it may be worth returning.
"Home is where the heart is" they say. For me, first steps were taken at a place with the envible name of 'The Nobbies' found at the end of Phillip Island, Victoria, Australia. After attempting to go AWOL with the pengiuns that lived under the house, my parents moved to the cosmopolitan capital of Phillip Is.: Cowes. Phillip Island is a little closer than a two hour drive from my second home, Melbourne.
I have lived in Melbourne for getting on to eight years. A scarily long time indicating how long ago it was when I left high school to learn how to drink at University. In Melbourne I lived firstly in college (International House), then a year in North Carlton (Fenwick Street), then three years in Camberwell (ahhh home cooked meals once again), six months in Moonee Ponds, and one and a half in Hawthorn East.
My first school was of course Kindergarten. I won't tell you much about it because I really can't remember much about it. Something to do with those strong doses of cough medicine I think...
Primary school was the large state run Cowes Primary School. Full of Parent/Teacher scandals, gossip, fights, plovers, and ridiculous marking systems created an environment that kept both parents and children interested, even if it is not for the right reasons.
Secondary school was where the streams of public schooling and private schooling diverged. Some friends would go to the public school, some to the private and others would swap between them as a result of the parents changing fortunes or the child changing their mind. Newhaven College, the private secondary school located just over the bridge on Phillip Island, was a good place for learning even though my year was "The worst year I have taught for five years". Pipped by my brother's year, oh well.
Interests? Well primarily I am self-interested, why else have a web site? Please, that is a joke, I do enjoy a few activities. Here is a quick summary: Surfing (though it happens only very rarely now, still want to do it all the time), snowboarding (a more recent and fun pastime), music (how general is that, bet everyone puts that down), computers (Ok, had to be said), travel (see recent activities).
Well, the recent developments include traveling through the Caribbean and the States on the way back to Australia.
Here's photos from the last couple days in Adobe format.
